This gentle 7-year-old Shepherd mix has been waiting in the pound for over a year, hoping for his second chance.

The volunteers who walk him call him their biggest lap dog, he just melts into cuddles and clearly remembers what it was like to be loved once, in a home of his own.

When Morfeo first arrived, he wasn’t comfortable with other dogs nearby. But over time, living alongside six dogs (male and female) and seeing new dogs come and go, he’s learned to ignore them. What he enjoys most, is human company.

Morfeo is low-energy, happy with gentle exercise, and would thrive with someone who leads a more relaxed lifestyle - someone looking for a big dog with an even bigger heart.
